Currently looking for new studio as I've moved out of my family home and studio in Heswall and moved to a beautiful but undrum friendly house in Ruabon on border between Wales and England. As soon as I find somewhere suitable to unleash the drum thunder I will of course tell the world. Until then i'm just doing online lessons using Zoom.
In the meantime STAY SAFE and keep practicing !

My first Youtube  drum upload is Ballroom Blitz by Sweet. I've always loved the drumming of Mick Tucker and so it tied in nicely that some of my students are doing this as well.It's not an instructional vid by any means but hopefully it'll point people in the right direction.

I know my long running students have been amused by my promises of superior comfort and facilities at my unfinished studio......BUT.....when it is......very soon.......I will be offering a new option and that is have a drum lesson with a friend ! The advantages are that you don't feel so inadequate when you both can't do something, you both learn from eachother and you get it CHEAPER !! HURRAH ! How much cheaper I hear you ask ? Well, you'll get an hour for the price of a 1/2 hour. An hour for 15 squid.Keep your eyes peeled for when I launch this....I may be able to do groups of 3 but watch this space !

Soon the neighbours will no longer have to be understanding, there will be blissfull silence on the outside and a thunderous storm within !! As most of you are aware I spend some of my time actually playing the drums as well as teaching them !! I'm off the next couple of weekends, both times with Rory Gallagher band tribute "Sinnerboy" We're playing a Dutch festival in Wijk aan Zee  on Friday and then at the Rock cafe in Zaandam on Sunday.Lessons as normal in the week then I'm off to bonny Scotland the following weekend to play in Prestwick and Kinross. Apologies to all who's had their lessons rescheduled....but I'm doing it for you.......Ha !!
